Our 1st DARE To READ initiative was a great success! We are ecstatic to have children in Lake City, Scranton, Coward, and Olanta learn about our hometown hero, Dr. Ronald E. McNair. Our goal was to have 59 books sponsored in recognition of the year young Ron stood for change in 1959 at the Lake City Library. With the help of our community we have surpassed that goal and are proud to say we have donated 148 books to five schools in Florence County School District Three!!!!! Thank you to everyone that supported us in this initiative!
