In 2019 we held a Career Fair at Lake City High School (LCHS). This particular event was exclusive to 9th grade students. Prior to this event, students had the opportunity to explore career options that would be available as well as determine the areas in which they wished to receive detailed information. There were three sessions for each student to attend. Two areas were chosen by the student while a session on financial literacy was required for all participants. Students also had a soft skills workshop to enhance their awareness and importance of these techniques. Each speaker discussed the path they took and provided information on their specific career field.
